  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese (divided)
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen spinach (thawed and drained if frozen)
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • Garlic powder
  • Italian seasoning
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the jumbo pasta shells in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta, 1 cup mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, spinach, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread 1 cup marinara sauce in a baking dish; stuff each shell with the filling and place seam-side up.
  5. Pour remaining marinara over the shells; top with remaining mozzarella.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; uncover and bake an additional 15 minutes until bubbly.
