- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 recommended)
- ½ onion
- 2–3 carrots
- 2–3 green onions
- 3–4 cloves garlic
- ½ inch knob ginger
- 3 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- Mandu dumpling wrappers
Instructions
- Finely mince the onion, carrots, garlic, ginger, and green onions using a food processor or by hand.
- In a large bowl, combine minced vegetables with ground beef, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix until sticky.
- Lay out a dumpling wrapper on a flat surface and add about 1 tablespoon of filling in the center.
- Wet the edges of the wrapper with water, fold it in half to form a half-moon shape, and seal tightly.
- Cook the dumplings by steaming for about 10 minutes or pan-frying until golden brown.
