Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 recommended)
  • ½ onion
  • 23 carrots
  • 23 green onions
  • 34 cloves garlic
  • ½ inch knob ginger
  • 3 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp sesame oil
  • Mandu dumpling wrappers

Instructions

  1. Finely mince the onion, carrots, garlic, ginger, and green onions using a food processor or by hand.
  2. In a large bowl, combine minced vegetables with ground beef, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix until sticky.
  3. Lay out a dumpling wrapper on a flat surface and add about 1 tablespoon of filling in the center.
  4. Wet the edges of the wrapper with water, fold it in half to form a half-moon shape, and seal tightly.
  5. Cook the dumplings by steaming for about 10 minutes or pan-frying until golden brown.
