  • 2 tablespoons milk or buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh chives
  • ½ teaspoon dried dill
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon dried parsley
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper (to taste)
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 1 head Romaine lettuce (chopped)
  • 2 cups grape tomatoes (halved)
  • 1 large ripe avocado (sliced)
  • 2 cups homemade croutons
  • ¼ red onion (thinly sliced)

Instructions

  1. For the dressing, whisk together Greek yogurt, milk, lemon juice, chives, dill, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Set aside.
  2. In a cast-iron skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy (about 8 to 12 minutes). Drain on paper towels.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine chopped Romaine lettuce, grape tomatoes, avocado slices, croutons, and red onion.
  4. Chop cooked bacon into pieces and add to the salad mix.
  5. Drizzle dressing over the salad just before serving and toss gently.
