  • 1 loaf French or Italian Bread
  • 1 lb Ribeye Steak
  • 8 oz Provolone Cheese
  • 1 Onion (sliced)
  • 1 Bell Pepper (sliced)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • Olive Oil or Butter
  • Worcestershire Sauce
  • Salt and Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice ribeye steak into thin strips and cut onion and bell pepper.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil or butter, sauté onions and bell peppers until soft, about 5 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Incorporate ribeye steak into the skillet along with Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper; cook until browned.
  5. Slice the bread lengthwise to create a pocket without cutting through fully; remove some inner bread for stuffing space.
  6. Layer half of the provolone cheese on one side of the bread, fill with the steak mixture, and top with remaining cheese.
  7. Wrap in aluminum foil and bake on a baking sheet for about 15 minutes until cheese is melted.
