- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt. Cut in cold butter until crumbly.
- Whisk together eggs, ice water, and lemon juice; add to the flour mixture and mix until combined.
- Split dough into two pieces; refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Toss apples with sugars, cornstarch, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, lemon juice, and vanilla.
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Roll out the larger dough piece to fit a greased 9×13-inch pan; fill with apple mixture.
- Roll out remaining dough for the top crust; place over filling and cut vents.
