  • 1/3 cup strawberry jam
  • 2 ounces cream cheese
  • 2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Blend freeze-dried strawberries into a fine powder using a blender.
  3. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar until fluffy; add egg and vanilla extract.
  4. Gradually mix in flour, baking soda, half the strawberry powder, and salt until combined.
  5. Stir in strawberry jam until evenly mixed.
  6. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and space them on the baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 8 minutes, tap to flatten slightly, then bake an additional 2–3 minutes until golden.
  8. For icing, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, hot milk, remaining strawberry powder, and adjust consistency as needed.
