Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1 lb / 450g)
  • 8 oz (225g) pasta (penne or fusilli recommended)
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 teaspoons freshly cracked black pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving some pasta water.
  2. Slice the chicken into thin strips. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant, then stir in honey and black pepper. Allow to bubble for one minute.
  4. Return the chicken to the skillet and coat with the sauce. Add the drained pasta and toss everything together, using reserved pasta water if needed.
  5. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese if desired.
