  • 6 tbsp fresh garlic, minced
  • 18 large basil leaves (julienned)
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (crushed)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 900 g cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 454 g dried angel hair pasta
  • 1½ cups grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dressing by whisking together olive oil, minced garlic, crushed red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper in a mixing bowl.
  2. In a large pot of salted water, boil the angel hair pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  3. In the same bowl as the dressing, add halved cherry tomatoes and gently toss in the cooked pasta until well coated.
  4. Fold in grated Parmesan cheese and julienned basil leaves; taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  5. Serve on a platter or individual bowls, garnished with extra basil and Parmesan.
