  • Lemon juice and zest

Instructions

  1. Boil linguine in salted water according to package directions. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper; cook until browned (5-7 minutes). Remove from the skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter, then sauté garlic until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  4. Stir in Dijon mustard, lemon juice, lemon zest, and chicken broth (or reserved pasta water), simmering gently.
  5. Add heavy cream and half the parsley; cook for another 2 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Return chicken and cooked linguine to the pan; toss with parmesan cheese, adjusting sauce consistency as needed.
  7. Season with salt and pepper; garnish with remaining parsley before serving.
