Ingredients
- 1 pack round mandu dumpling wrappers
- 2 ounces dangmyeon (sweet potato starch noodles)
- 1 cup finely chopped kimchi
- 1/3 cup blanched bean sprouts
- 8 oz firm tofu
- 1/2 lb ground pork (80/20)
- 1/2 medium yellow onion
- 1 cup Korean garlic chives
- 1 tablespoon garlic (minced)
- 2 teaspoons ginger (grated)
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Prepare the filling by mixing all filling ingredients in a large bowl until evenly combined.
- Assemble the dumplings: place a wrapper on your palm, add about 1 tablespoon of filling in the center, wet edges with water, fold and seal tightly.
- Steam the assembled dumplings in a steamer basket for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
