Ingredients
- 1 pound strawberries (finely diced)
- ¼ cup cane or brown sugar
- Squeeze of lemon juice
- 2–3 cups unsweetened non-dairy milk
Instructions
- Macerate ¾ cup of diced strawberries with 1 tablespoon of sugar and set aside.
- In a saucepan, combine 2 cups of diced strawberries, 3 tablespoons of sugar, and lemon juice. Bring to a boil, then simmer for about 10 minutes until syrupy.
- Allow the syrup to cool in the fridge.
- In a glass, mix in 2-3 tablespoons of strawberry syrup with ¾ cup of non-dairy milk and ice.
