Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 6 slider buns
  • 1 cup arugula
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season chicken with salt and pepper.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together maple syrup and Dijon mustard.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat; sear chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Brush with maple glaze.
  5. Transfer chicken to the oven and bake for about 10 minutes until cooked through (internal temp should reach 165°F).
  6. Cook bacon in the same skillet until crispy; drain on paper towels.
  7. Slice baked chicken into slider-sized pieces.
  8. To assemble, layer arugula, chicken, and bacon on each bun; top with the other half.
