  • powdered sugar

Instructions

  3. Combine flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl. Gradually add dry ingredients to the butter mixture alternating with buttermilk and pink champagne.
  4. Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form and gently fold into the batter.
  5. Pour batter into prepared pans and bake for about 26 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool the cakes before frosting with a mixture of butter, powdered sugar, and pink champagne.
