- 6 large eggs
- 1 jalapeño, diced
- ¼ onion, diced
- 1 green onion, diced
- 4 garlic cloves, diced
- ½ cup light soy sauce
- ¾ cup cola
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tsp sesame oil (optional)
Instructions
- Boil water in a pot. Gently add the eggs and cook for 6–7 minutes for soft-boiled or 9–10 minutes for hard-boiled.
- Transfer boiled eggs to an ice bath to cool.
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, cola, sesame oil (if using), jalapeño, onion, green onion, garlic, and sesame seeds.
- Peel cooled eggs and submerge them in the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight for maximum flavor.
- Serve sliced in half or whole as desired.
