Ingredients

  • 300g ribeye or sirloin steak
  • 2 packs instant ramen noodles
  • 2 cups chicken or beef broth
  • 3 tbsp mayonnaise (Kewpie preferred)
  • 1 tbsp gochujang
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tbsp gochugaru
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp toasted black sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Marinate the beef in a mixture of soy sauce, gochujang, sesame oil, brown sugar, minced garlic, and black pepper for at least 30 minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl, make the creamy sauce by combining mayonnaise, sriracha, sesame oil, garlic powder, and optional sugar; chill until ready.
  3. Simmer the broth with gochugaru, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and salt in a pot. Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions.
  4. Grill the marinated beef over high heat for about 2–3 minutes per side until caramelized; let it rest before slicing.
  5. Assemble your bowls with noodles, broth, grilled beef slices, creamy sauce, and garnish with green onions.
