  • 12 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup blue cheese (crumbled)
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 medium onion (diced)
  • 1 medium bell pepper (diced)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook rigatoni in salted boiling water until al dente, about 10-12 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak pieces until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté onion and bell pepper for about 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  4. Lower heat and stir in heavy cream, blue cheese, oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook until cheese melts and sauce thickens.
  5. Combine cooked rigatoni and seared steak with the sauce in the skillet.
  6. Transfer to a greased baking dish, top with mozzarella cheese, and bake at 375°F for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
