  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 medium bell pepper, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (extra virgin)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.5 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook rigatoni in salted boiling water until al dente (10-12 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear steak pieces until browned (3-4 minutes). Remove from skillet.
  3. Sauté onion and bell pepper until softened (about 5 minutes). Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Stir in heavy cream to deglaze the pan and add blue cheese, oregano, salt, and pepper. Cook until cheese melts.
  5. Return steak to the skillet with sauce; mix in cooked rigatoni.
  6. Transfer to a greased baking dish and top with mozzarella cheese.
  7. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
