Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 3 minced garlic cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 1/2 pounds skirt steak
  • 1 teaspoon coarse salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, freshly ground

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together orange juice, lime juice, olive oil, soy sauce, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, apple cider vinegar, red pepper flakes, and ground cumin until well blended.
  2. Place the skirt steak in a zip-top bag or plastic wrap. Pour the marinade over the steak, ensuring it’s fully coated. Seal tightly and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight for maximum flavor.
  3. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the steak from the marinade (discard remaining marinade) and season with salt and black pepper on both sides.
  5. Grill or sear each side for about 3 minutes or until desired doneness is reached.
  6. Let the steak rest for about 5 minutes before slicing against the grain and serving.
